This hilarious version of Offenbach’s irreverent, satirical operetta was originally commissioned for performance at the Holland Park Opera Festival, since when it has been widely performed. It is the original La Belle Hélène with 12 principal parts and excellent chorus work. The dialogues are contained in a separate libretto.

Orpheus in the Underworld
This translation of Offenbach’s most famous satirical operetta was commissioned by Southgate Opera in 2003. As with La Belle Hélène it is taken from the original work, with 15 principal parts and first-class chorus work. The dialogues are contained in a separate libretto.
